These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Flu Genie website, services, and telemedicine consultations (“Services”). 1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Flu Genie.
  • Parents or legal guardians may use our Services on behalf of minors.
  • By using our Services, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

2. Medical Disclaimer

  • Flu Genie provides telemedicine consultations for influenza and flu-like symptoms only.
  • Our services are not a substitute for in-person medical care, emergency services, or treatment of chronic conditions.
  • If you experience severe symptoms (e.g., difficulty breathing, chest pain, high fever not responding to medication, confusion, dehydration, or worsening condition), call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.

3. Telemedicine Services

  • You consent to receive care via telemedicine technology, which may include video, audio, or electronic communications.
  • Telemedicine has limitations, including the inability to perform certain physical exams.
  • Prescriptions may only be issued when medically appropriate and as permitted by applicable state laws.

4. Not an Emergency Service

  • Flu Genie is not for emergencies.
  • If you believe your condition is life-threatening, do not use this service—call 911.

5. Privacy and Security

  • Your personal health information will be protected in compliance with HIPAA and applicable privacy laws.

6. Patient Responsibilities

You agree to:
  • Provide accurate, complete medical and personal information.
  • Use the Services only for yourself or for a dependent minor for whom you are legally responsible.
  • Follow the treatment plan and prescription instructions given by your Flu Genie provider.

7. Payments and Fees

  • Fees for telemedicine consultations are displayed before booking.
  • Payments must be made at the time of service unless otherwise specified.
  • We do not guarantee insurance coverage; patients are responsible for confirming eligibility with their insurer.

8. No Guarantee of Outcome

  • While our licensed providers strive to provide the best care, Flu Genie does not guarantee specific medical outcomes or results.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flu Genie and its providers shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of our Services, except as required by applicable law.

10. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the state where the treating provider is licensed, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
